This premium voice-controlled dashboard camera captures sharp 1440p HD video with a 140-degree field of view and automatically saves detected events. You can focus on driving while the camera takes care of everything else.
Its compact and nearly unnoticeable design blends seamlessly with your windshield. The clear 2.4-inch colour TFT LCD display (480 x 272 px) allows for quick playback of recordings directly on the device.
The built-in polarizing Garmin Clarity filter reduces windshield reflections and enhances image quality. The Garmin Clarity HDR optics ensure sharp and detailed footage in both bright daylight and low-light conditions. The integrated GPS records the location and time of events in the video.
With voice control, managing the camera is easy without taking your hands off the wheel. You can record video, start or stop audio recording, and utilize other functions through voice commands in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Swedish.
The Vault cloud service provides additional security. With a subscription and active Wi-Fi connection, important video clips are automatically saved to a secure cloud service, allowing you to view and share them via the Garmin Drive app. Live view and parking security features are also available, sending notifications when events are detected (requires paid subscription, continuous power supply, and active Wi-Fi connection).
Driver alerts, such as front collision, lane departure, and speed camera warnings (not available in all areas), enhance driving safety. Additionally, you can view synchronized video clips from up to four Garmin dashboard cameras within the Garmin Drive app.
The device is designed to withstand challenging vehicle conditions, including heat and direct sunlight. Please note that the use of cameras may be regulated or prohibited in some jurisdictions.
