The FS5000 is a log-periodic antenna designed for wide frequency bands, primarily used for boosting data communication and enhancing data transfer speeds. It includes a 7m low-loss cable with an SMA connector. The Finnsat FS5000 antenna is aimed at the transmission tower of the chosen operator. The further the receiving location is from the transmission station or the more challenging the terrain, the more amplification is needed. The FS5000 antenna has a maximum gain of 12 dBi.
A stronger signal guarantees a faster and more reliable internet connection for both home and holiday usage. It can be directly connected to a home router with an SMA connector. By combining the FS5000 with the FS1000 antenna, a passive repeater can be built to enhance mobile network coverage in the area. A MIMO installation is achieved by using two FS5000 antennas and adjusting the polarizations to 45 degrees, with one antenna at -45 degrees and the other at +45 degrees.
