As daylight decreases significantly in autumn and winter, and people spend more time indoors, the impacts of insufficient light can lead to seasonal affective disorder (SAD). Symptoms of SAD can manifest in various ways, including mood fluctuations, lack of energy, increased need for sleep, loss of appetite, and difficulties in concentration.

Beurer bright light devices are specifically designed to counteract the symptoms of light deficiency. With an intensity of 10,000 lux, they replicate natural sunlight in ways that ordinary lamps cannot. Beurer devices are certified medical instruments.

It is recommended to use Beurer bright light devices daily during the darkest months, ideally between 6 AM and 8 PM. Just 30 to 60 minutes of bright light therapy each day can enhance well-being and alleviate symptoms of SAD. The earlier the treatment begins in the morning, the more effective it tends to be. Therefore, it is suggested to use the device shortly after waking, typically between 6 AM and 10 AM. However, using the device at other times of the day can also be beneficial due to variations in individual circadian rhythms. You can use the bright light device as often as you wish, but the best results are achieved with daily use for at least two hours.
