Frost Free Automatic Defrost in the Freezer
Thanks to Electrolux’s Frost Free technology, there’s no need to manually defrost the freezer anymore. Moisture in the air doesn’t condense on the walls of the unit or in the freezer drawers; instead, it collects on a separate element at the top of the cabinet, which is automatically defrosted. This prevents frost from forming on the products, ensuring they don’t stick together and that package labels remain legible. All shelves are freezer-safe, allowing for completely flexible arrangement of items inside. Additionally, drawers and intermediate shelves can be completely removed if you need space for particularly large items. This is made possible by dynamic freezing, where cold air is effectively circulated inside the unit by a fan.
Fast Freeze Function
Quick chill function for the refrigerator: The rapid cooling function cools the refrigerator to 2°C within six hours. This is particularly important when loading large quantities of food, such as before the weekend. A lower temperature in the unit ensures that existing food doesn’t warm up excessively and that new items are cooled quickly – otherwise, there is a risk of breaking the cold chain and the safe shelf life of fresh food unnecessarily shortens.
