CANDY - Fridge Freezers

This depends entirely on your eating habits. If you use a lot of fresh produce and only a small amount of frozen foods, choose a model with a larger refrigerator section and a smaller freezer (e.g. a 70/30 ratio). Conversely, if you freeze a lot of berries, pastries, or ready meals, a 50/50 model with a larger freezer section may be better.

A freestanding model is a standalone unit that you can place anywhere there is space for it. An integrated model is designed to be installed within kitchen cabinetry, and a decorative panel is attached to its door, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the rest of the kitchen.

No, it does not. NoFrost technology prevents ice and frost build-up in the freezer compartment, meaning manual defrosting is no longer necessary. This saves effort, energy, and keeps frozen foods in better condition. The refrigerator section automatically defrosts itself in all modern models.

Yes, in most freestanding models, the door swing can be changed. This allows for flexible placement within your kitchen. Always check the product-specific information to see if the door swing is reversible and whether the change is included in the installation service.

These are special refrigerator drawers with a temperature close to zero degrees. They are specifically designed for storing perishable foods, such as fresh meat, fish, and certain vegetables. A lower temperature extends the shelf life of products and better preserves their freshness.

The average technical lifespan of a modern, high-quality fridge freezer is about 10–15 years. However, it is important to note that an old unit over 10 years old consumes significantly more electricity than a new one. By switching to a new model in a good energy class, you will save considerably on your electricity bill and enjoy modern features like NoFrost technology.
