The oven and the hob can be chosen separately, which lets you place the oven at worktop height and the hob where you actually cook. Ovens differ in capacity and functions: fan heating bakes on several levels at once, and pyrolytic cleaning burns the grease away by itself. Hobs divide into induction, ceramic and gas, and an induction hob with an integrated hood replaces a separate extractor by drawing the steam down through the hob.
