An oven is chosen on how it is installed and what it can do. A built-in oven goes into a tall unit at worktop height, so the door opens at a comfortable level and there is no bending down. Fan heating spreads the heat evenly, so you can bake on several levels at once. In pyrolytic cleaning the oven heats to over 400 degrees and burns grease to ash, which you then wipe away.
