The built-in 2 terabyte hard drive captures all occurrences clearly and securely. If necessary, storage can be expanded up to 6 terabytes via the eSATA interface, ensuring no moment goes unrecorded. The Reolink NVS8 supports continuous 24/7 recording or motion-triggered recording – giving you the control over when and how recordings are made.
Installation is made as hassle-free as possible. PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology allows power and data transfer over a single cable. Just connect the cameras to the recorder, and the system will automatically recognize them – no complex settings or extra power cables required.
The Reolink NVS8 supports resolutions of up to 16 megapixels, capturing every detail with incredible clarity. Thanks to HDMI and VGA outputs, you can connect the recorder directly to your TV or monitor and monitor events in real time.
Management is also easily conducted remotely. With the Reolink app and software, you can monitor live feeds, playback recordings, and control the system from anywhere – on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
The Reolink NVS8 is widely compatible with cameras from the Reolink ecosystem, allowing you to build the perfect surveillance system tailored to your needs. Its effective, quiet, and durable construction ensures reliable operation around the clock.
Please note: This recorder does not support WiFi cameras as a base station, meaning the cameras and recorder must be on the same local network. The recorder will find cameras that are connected wirelessly to the network. Battery-powered cameras cannot be connected to the recorder.
