The optical Wiser smart smoke detector provides enhanced safety in a smart home environment. It detects smoke as well as rapid temperature increases, alerting occupants with a loud alarm and sending a notification to your mobile device*.

Using the Wiser app, the smoke detector can be integrated into your home automation system. This allows you to automatically shut off power outlets in the event of a fire or have all home cameras record any occurrences to a memory card. The app also reminds users to test the smoke detector periodically.

You can monitor the status of the device via a clear LED indicator, and if you need to temporarily silence it for 10 minutes, simply press the front of the device briefly.

The smoke detector can also be used without the Wiser app, functioning like a traditional smoke alarm. It can be interconnected with other Wiser smoke detectors, providing widespread alerts throughout the home if smoke or a rapid rise in temperature is detected in any room.

Included in the package are a ceiling/wall mounting plate, screws, and a user manual.

The device can be installed on flat ceilings, sloped ceilings, or walls. See user manual for detailed installation instructions.

The smoke detector features a built-in battery with an estimated lifespan of approximately 10 years. The battery is not replaceable.

*Full functionality of Schneider Electric's Wiser system requires a central unit (part number 2622118, CCT501901), the Wiser by SE smartphone app, a user account, and an internet connection. The system is free to use.
