Euronics Jalasjärvi
Jalasjärven Kodintekniikka Oy was established in 1994, when Eero Pitkämäki and Jouko Heinonen purchased the home appliance business from Jalasjärven Sähkö Oy. They were already familiar with commerce as both had worked at Jalasjärven Sähkö Oy prior to the transition.
The grand opening of the home appliance store was held on March 1, 1994, and operations continued with minor changes until the store became a member of the Tekniset chain. The store's sign was changed at the same time when Finland played the ice hockey final at the Globe Arena in 1995. The sign changed swiftly, and the finale of the game was seen in the store.
The store's selection has expanded over the years, and currently, it includes not only the Euronics chain offerings but also small machines from Husqvarna and Stihl, as well as decorative lights for homes.
