Euronics Online Store Return Policy
RETURN AND CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel or return your order, please always contact our customer service at info@euronics.fi or by phone at 010 197100 (weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
The right to return is valid for 14 days from the receipt of the ordered product. Registered loyalty customers have a return period of 30 days. The item must be returned according to the seller's instructions within a reasonable time after the return/cancellation notification has been made. The returned product must include the original packaging intact, as well as all parts, materials, and documents that came with the original packaging.
Damage or wear to the product or its parts, or significant deficiencies in the packaging may result in a reduction in value. Once you have received the product, it must be kept in essentially unchanged and undiminished condition until you decide to keep it. However, if you have started to use the item and wish to cancel the agreement, you are responsible for any reduction in the value of the product. A product is not considered to have been used if it has been handled as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functionality (Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 18). The right to return only applies to purchases made from the Euronics online store.
Limited Return/Cancellation Rights
Some products have limited return rights. This means that the right of return ends once the packaging of the product has been opened. The limited return and cancellation rights apply to the following products, product categories, and services, as well as other comparable products/services:
- Electronic services where delivery has already begun, e.g., a subscription or payment channel card.
- Installation of operating systems for computers ends the right to return.
- Products specially ordered or manufactured according to your preferences.
- Items that cannot be returned for resale, e.g., ink cartridges and blister-packed products.
- Hygiene products such as razors, hair care devices, air purifiers, lady shavers, thermometers, earphones, wellness devices like various massage devices, and other similar products.
- Sealed products, software, or games that have been opened. The seal on the product must remain intact if delivered sealed.
- Transport, delivery, services, and installations.
For returns, the product must be packaged in a separate package and well-padded. Do not return the product in its retail packaging. Place at least 10 cm of padding around the product. Use the packaging materials that came with the product as assistance. If the instructions related to the return are clearly neglected, the customer is responsible for any possible damage to the product.
Return Costs
Return via Post - 8.90 euros
Orders that can be returned as a normal postal package may be returned via Post. The maximum weight for shipments is 25 kg. Our customer service can provide you with a return agreement number and a return form if necessary. We will deduct the return costs from the total amount of the order. Keep the receipt you receive (tracking number), otherwise, we cannot verify a possibly lost package.
Large Product Return - 80 euros
If you wish to return a product that cannot be delivered as a normal postal package due to size or weight, a paid pickup may be ordered for the product. We will charge 80 euros per product/pickup for the paid pickup. Such products include large household appliances like dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, freezers, microwave ovens, home theaters, soundbar systems, and televisions larger than 26 inches as well as other similarly large products.
The customer must be present at the agreed time when the product is picked up. If the pickup cannot be performed due to the customer's absence, we will also charge 80 euros for the next new pickup order per product. The product must be placed ready for pickup near the front door for easy retrieval. We will deduct the costs incurred from each pickup (at least 80 euros) from the total amount of the order. If the total order amount is not sufficient to cover the costs, we will invoice these separately.
Unclaimed Shipment - 20.00 euros
If the order is not picked up from the post office, and a cancellation of the order is not reported to our customer service in accordance with our delivery and usage terms, we will not refund the delivery or return costs of the order, and will charge processing fees for the return: 20.00 euros. These will be deducted from the refund amount.
Other Information
Euronics online store will refund the customer's payment no later than 14 days from the return of the product. The refund will primarily be processed using the payment method of the order. Any procedure that contradicts our terms will lead to the loss of the right of cancellation. We do not redeem packages sent by cash on delivery.
A customer may cancel their order if the delivery has not occurred within a reasonable time. According to the law, the product must be delivered no later than 30 days unless otherwise agreed. The cancellation of the order must always be reported to our customer service. We will try to notify our customers as quickly as possible via email or phone if the delivery time deviates from the usual. Euronics.fi reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the customer's account.
The provision of the Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 18 states that if the consumer cancels the agreement after taking the item into use, they are responsible for the reduction in its value. The basis of this is the actual reduction in the value of the product resulting from use, and according to the rationale of the provision, the reduction must be determined reasonably.
This right to return only applies to purchases made from the Euronics online store.
