Just 30 to 60 minutes of light therapy each day can enhance well-being and ease the symptoms of SAD. The efficacy of the treatment increases the earlier it is initiated in the morning. Therefore, light therapy sessions are best started soon after waking up, typically between 6 AM and 10 AM. However, due to varying circadian rhythms, using the device at other times of the day can also be beneficial. You may use the device as often as you like, but optimal results are achieved with daily sessions of at least two hours.
