Bagless Vacuums

In a bagless vacuum a cyclone separates the dust into a clear bin that you empty straight into the rubbish. There is no cost for bags at all, and you can see at a glance when the bin is full. In return, emptying raises a little dust, so anyone with allergies should consider a bagged model. Wash or replace the filters as the manufacturer instructs so that suction stays where it should.

The range includes Electrolux, Miele and Bosch. Filters are in vacuum accessories. In towns with a Euronics store we deliver the appliance and take away your old one.

A bagless vacuum saves the cost of bags

In a bagless vacuum the dust is separated by a cyclone into a clear bin. You can see at once when the bin is full, and you empty it straight into the rubbish without buying anything. The solution suits a home where cleaning is frequent and you would rather not run out of bags.

The range includes Electrolux, Miele and Bosch. Filters and other wearing parts are in vacuum accessories, and surface-specific heads in nozzles.

Frequently asked questions about bagless vacuum cleaners

How does a bagless vacuum work?

Air is spun in a cyclone, and centrifugal force separates dust and debris into the bottom of the bin. The cleaned air passes out through the filters. The bin is emptied straight into the rubbish, so no bags are needed.

How often should the bin be emptied?

Empty the bin after each clean, or at the latest when the dust reaches the marked line. A full bin reduces the separating efficiency of the cyclone and costs suction.

Is a bagless vacuum suitable for allergy sufferers?

Emptying the bin always raises a little dust, which can bother an allergy sufferer. If symptoms occur, a bagged model is the safer choice. Empty the bin outdoors or inside a rubbish bag.

Does a bagless vacuum need filters?

Yes. The cyclone separates coarse dust, but fine dust ends up in the filters. Wash or change them as the manufacturer instructs; a washable filter must be completely dry before use.

Which works out cheaper, bagged or bagless?

A bagless model has no bag costs, but the filters have to be replaced regularly. With a bagged machine the costs are steady but predictable. In practice the difference is small, so choose on hygiene and convenience instead.
