The iconic design of the Zeppelin speaker reflects its intended purpose and functionality. Its oval shape significantly minimizes the "baffling effect," which is the unwanted reflection caused by the speaker cabinet that can distort sound. With minimal cabinet space around the tweeter and midrange drivers, cabinet reflections are reduced, allowing music to play clearly without distortion.

Each driver in the Zeppelin features its own 40-watt amplifier. The bass driver utilizes dual amplifiers, delivering a robust 80 watts (8 Ohm).

User controls for various functions are located on buttons at the top rear of the device.
