The Tapo C501GW V2 utilises 3G and 4G LTE networks for connectivity when Wi-Fi is unavailable. Ideal for farms, holiday homes, and storage facilities, this camera allows you to implement surveillance through SIM card and mobile network connectivity. A Nano-SIM card and active subscription are required for operation.

Wide View and Sharp Full HD Image
The camera features 360° panning and 149° tilt for extensive adjustment capabilities. It delivers a maximum image resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a frame rate of 30 frames per second. The horizontal field of view is 105°, vertical is 59°, and diagonal is 122°, ensuring broad coverage areas.

Starlight color night vision and infrared LED lights support low-light recording, with an infrared range of up to 29.9 meters. Two built-in spotlights allow for visual alerts, with adjustable brightness settings.

AI-Based Detection and Notifications
The camera intelligently recognizes events such as motion, people, pets, and vehicles using AI technologies. It also includes features for tampering detection, line crossing, and glass breakage, as well as recognizing a cat's purr and a dog's bark. Customisable activity zones help define areas for monitoring.

The Tapo app provides system notifications and event alerts, with the option to attach snapshots in Tapo Care service notifications.

Audio and Lighting Features
The camera includes a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio communication. The microphone features noise cancellation, and the camera supports audio alerts. It also has a built-in siren with a sound output of 99 dB measured at 10 cm away. Two embedded spotlights are included for visual alerts.

Recording Options and Connectivity
Video can be stored on the camera's microSD card, which supports storage capacities of up to 512 GB. Alternatively, a subscription-based Tapo Care cloud service is available for recording. The camera supports 24/7 recording.

You can connect via 3G or 4G LTE or through an Ethernet cable. The Ethernet connection supports PoE technology compliant with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards. Compatible networking protocols include RTSP, ONVIF, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, HTTPS, and UDP.

Outdoor-Ready Design
With an IP66 rating, the camera is dust and water-resistant according to the specified product protection features. It operates within a temperature range of -30 °C to +60 °C and a humidity range of 10–90% RH, non-condensing.

This camera can be mounted on ceilings, walls, or poles. Separate mounting brackets are required for pole installations.

Smart Home Compatibility
The Tapo C501GW V2 integrates with the Tapo app on Android and iOS devices and supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. It is compatible with the Google Home platform.
