High-Definition 2K QHD Image
The Tapo C520WS records video at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, providing 1.7 times more detail than traditional 1080p. With a 4-megapixel CMOS sensor, an F/1.61 aperture lens, and Starlight technology, it ensures detailed imagery even in low-light conditions.
For night recording, you can utilize either the 850 nm infrared LED lights or the Starlight Color Night Vision feature. Infrared night vision extends up to approximately 29.87 metres.
Wide Coverage and Automatic Tracking
The motorized camera can rotate horizontally by 360 degrees, allowing for extensive monitoring of the area. Motion detection along with the ability to recognize people, pets, and vehicles helps focus attention on detected activities.
The camera can also automatically track identified targets. Customizable activity zones and line-crossing detection allow for monitoring specific areas of interest.
Two-Way Audio and Custom Alerts
With a built-in microphone and speaker, two-way audio communication is seamless. The camera includes audio and visual alerts as well as a built-in 93 dB siren. Alerts can be customized with specific sounds.
A physical privacy mode is included, where the casing covers the lens when activated.
Wi-Fi or Ethernet Connection
The Tapo C520WS can connect to your network wirelessly via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or through an Ethernet cable. The internal dual antenna supports wireless connectivity, and the camera complies with Wi-Fi standards 802.11b/g/n.
