When coffee breaks are part of your daily routine, it’s essential that every cup tastes equally good. The Moccamaster Optio is designed with this in mind: it adapts to the amount of coffee you brew, ensuring perfect flavour whether you’re making half a jug or a full one.

The Optio feature is the heart of this model. It assesses the amount of water you use and adjusts both the extraction time and the heating plate temperature accordingly. This way, your coffee will never taste weak or bitter, but rather brew to a balanced and aromatic perfection every time. The coffee maker brews a full 1.25-litre jug in just six minutes, and the separate warming plate maintains the coffee at the optimal serving temperature of 80–85°C.

Two distinct heating elements ensure precise filtration temperatures (92–96°C) and a steady warm holding. The automatic drip stop keeps usage clean and safe: you can lift the jug during the brewing process without any spills. The automatic shut-off feature turns off the device after 40 minutes, enhancing energy efficiency and peace of mind.

Each Moccamaster is handcrafted in the Netherlands, with every single unit tested before leaving the factory. Durable materials, quality design, and serviceability ensure that this coffee maker will serve you well for years to come. The Optio is ECBC-certified and also approved in the SCA test evaluated by coffee professionals.

Its stylish and timeless design rounds off the package. The polished surface makes the Optio an eye-catching addition to your kitchen, and its user-friendliness offers a true luxury in everyday life.

Moccamaster provides a 5-year warranty on their coffee makers. By registering your new coffee maker within six months of purchase, you can extend the warranty to 10 years. You can register your coffee maker here.
