When coffee breaks are part of your daily rhythm, it is essential that every cup tastes just as good. The Moccamaster Optio is designed for this purpose: it adapts to the amount of coffee you brew, ensuring perfect flavor whether you brew half or a full carafe.

The Optio function is the heart of this model. It evaluates your water amount and adjusts the brewing time and hot plate temperature accordingly. Thus, your coffee will never taste weak or bitter, but will brew into a balanced and aromatic cup every single time. The coffee maker brews a full 1.25-liter carafe in just six minutes, while a separate hot plate keeps the coffee at an optimal serving temperature of 80–85 °C.

Two separate heating elements maintain precise filtering temperatures (92–96 °C) and consistent warmth retention. The automatic drip stop feature allows for clean and safe use: you can remove the carafe mid-brew without any spills. An automatic shut-off turns off the machine after 40 minutes, enhancing energy efficiency and peace of mind.

Every Moccamaster is handcrafted in the Netherlands, and each individual device is tested before leaving the factory. Durable materials, high-quality design, and repairability ensure that this coffee maker will serve you for many years. The Optio is ECBC-certified and also approved in the SCA test conducted by coffee professionals.

Stylish and timeless design completes the package. The polished finish makes the Optio a stunning addition to any kitchen, and the ease of use makes it a true luxury for everyday life.

Moccamaster offers a 5-year warranty on its coffee makers. Registering your new coffee maker within 6 months of purchase extends the warranty to 10 years. You can register your brewer here.
