When it's time to clean the coffee maker, the device will remind you by flashing the power button. Regular cleaning extends the lifespan of the coffee maker and ensures that every cup tastes its best. We recommend using Brew Fresh cleaning and descaling agents.

Tips for Better Coffee Preparation:
Rinsing filter paper enhances the flavour experience. Filter paper can release a paper taste and fibres during brewing, negatively affecting the final cup. Always rinse filter paper before using it. Choose white filter paper, as it imparts less of a taste than brown paper.
Always use fresh coffee. By selecting beans and grinding them yourself, you ensure that the coffee's aroma and flavour are perfectly released at the right moment! The aromas of coffee beans can diminish by half within fifteen minutes of exposure to oxygen. Grinding beans just before brewing ensures you enjoy the most robust coffee flavours.
For really hot coffee, rinse the glass carafe with hot water before brewing. This is especially recommended if brewing 0.5 litres of coffee or less.
If the coffee maker has not been used for a while, we recommend running it with clean water before preparing coffee.
Coffee residues can accumulate in parts that come into contact with coffee. To achieve the best coffee taste, you should regularly clean the filter holder, carafe, and carafe lid.
Do not fill the water reservoir with the coffee carafe, as residues in the carafe can affect the flavour and quality of the brewed coffee.
