360 Spatial Sound Mapping integrates the rear speakers into a wider surround sound environment. When used with a compatible BRAVIA Theatre soundbar, the speakers contribute to a sound field created by both physical and virtual speakers, extending sound in front, to the sides, behind, and even overhead.

Each speaker features a large 80 mm upward-firing driver that reflects sound off the ceiling. This allows for an expansive vertical sound image without the need for ceiling-mounted speakers.
